Mark IV Boltgun by RedSkittlez-DA Mark IV Boltgun by RedSkittlez-DA
The standard model Mark IV has single-shot and burst fire (i.e. firing three bolts in short succession) modes. The bolter also incorporates a palm-print sensor to identify its wielder by its genetic imprint.

A Bolter's rounds go inside of the target and detonate after a few seconds, correct? I'm just making sure.

They are mass-reactive so the detonate whenever it machine-spirit reacts to, well, mass.

I like your vision for the bolter round. It seems like nobody has clear statement to describe how exactly does a bolter round look. Also, a lot of people seem to imagine the bolt like a 4 inch canister stuffed with explosive, ignoring the fact that .75 cal is exactly 3/4" or ~1,9cm barrel opening =)
