Perinetus - bolter by RedSkittlez-DA Perinetus - bolter by RedSkittlez-DA
The Perinetus Pattern "Solo" Mark II is considered to be heretical by some members of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Its workings are much less sophisticated compared to other boltguns and it can only be operated in single-shot mode. Its lack of an automatic fire mode it's made up for by its somewhat longer range, better accuracy and higher reliability of its mechanism. These features make it popular with Planetary Defence Forces (or PDF for short) and rebels alike

Excuse me, but may I please use this for a fanfiction I'm currently writing? I just love the design and it would be perfect for my stormtrooper character.

Here's the story so far if you want to see it.

why is it considered to be heretical? Because it's not fitting the usual pattern of an automatic bolter or what?
enlighten me please

Any descriptions Rumbles' uses are directly from the 40K lexicanum or other sources of cannon. This thing really does exists, back from the rogue trader days.

because it was not created by the Adeptus Mechanicus it was created by third party weapon dealers to try to give more gangs Bolter weaponry.
Its parts are not as advanced as those created from the Mechanicus or from any official weapon maker so its far more prone to breakdown and higher maintenance requirement.
