Serberus' bionic arm by RedSkittlez-DA Serberus' bionic arm by RedSkittlez-DA
(Still WIP)

Serberus' left arm, at first glance appears to be your run of the mill Bionic prostesis designed for an injured Astartes, but it matches no known patterns or blueprints sanctioned by the Adeptus Machinicus. This is could be considered a "gift" by a radical Ordos Xenos Inquisitor. The story begins shortly after Serberus' imprisionment inside his chapters holding cellsshortly after he went beserk and laid waste to his own brothers with virtually no weapons, it was not long after this that a Inquisitor showed up askign for volounters from the chapter in researching some possibly new wargear from which the fabeled Deathwatch squads would be outfitted, she requested that the Astartes be above even the average Space Marines standard of resilience, Agression and skilled in hand to hand combat it was then that the Inquisitor learnt of Serberus, and she immediatly requested him, it was needless to say that the Knights of Blood refused her stating he was to be put to death for the death of fellow Battle Brothers. Not long after the disscusions ended it was rumoured that a massive firefight broke out in the chapter keep, during this several important consoles were destroyed, the resulting trauma caused the matchine spirits watching over Serberus cell to shut down, opening his holding cell while still groggy from both the fight and several Tanqulizer doses Serberus was wisked away, with a few other unmentioned Astartes, back to the Inquistor's flagship.

Always loved mechanic replacements for arms.
.... This, is pretty damn good Fluff. Considering how little there is (to my knowledge there's only a brief bit of fluff in the Blood angels codex & the James Swallow Novels) about the chapter you're really running with it in a very interesting direction thus far.

So I have a question:
I'm trying to write a new Cast of Player characters and NPC's for an inquisitor Game I'm going to be running in the future. Do you mind at all if I base one of these Characters Off of the fluff your writing; I.E. the plot threads you left dangling about not just Serberus being whisked off by this female inquisitor?
Go-ahead. Have fun with it, and don't forget to let me know how it goes.
Awesome, Will do.

I'm planning to have the Character in Scout Armour to off-set just how God Like and Overpowering over meer mortal characters a Space Marine can be in Inquisitor.

Do you think that would work? Considering the loyist/not loyaist angel your taking with Serberus and the fluff you're writing for him?
or is he a very much stand alone character, so much so he stands apart from Other Knights of blood Astartes but is still one of them?
I don't want to do anything that'd contradict or screw with the background your writing as working within that is much G'damn easier (Think about it for a second if you will; I have to create a whole cast of Npc's and bad guys plus my own Characters... its more work than you'd think if your doing it from scratch!).
Basically, he killed a bunch of his own battle brothers by mistake (not of his own doing), sentenced to death but a Inquisitor saved him, and she experimented on him as a thank you, he never forgiven himself what happened back then, so he created the mk.2 Chainshield, with a plaque of every battle brothers name, he accidentally killed.
Okay, that's actually really helpful; I didn't know that's why Serberus had created the chainshield. Nice plot point right there.

OKAY. I've just written down a rough version of a short story that will form about half of this guys background. I'll put it up later today. I'll float you a link if you'd like?
Hmmmm... It seems familiar to me, not sure how.

I love the design, its efficient, but not your typical Astartes Pattern.
