Vampire Killa by RedSkittlez-DA Vampire Killa by RedSkittlez-DA
The small, arid world of Zaebus Minoris is inhabited by a primitive human culture of roughly stone-age development. Missionary Galactica reports that these tribes each have a central temple complex, at which each newborn male child is presented to the gods for their approval. On the first full moon of the newborn’s life it is presented to the High Priest and placed upon the temple’s stone altar. The tribesmen believe that the gods look down from the moon in judgement upon their children. In the night, those that are judged inadequate die (usually from exposure). Most are allowed to live, the infant being returned to its father at dawn to begin a normal life amongst the tribe. A few – those judged to be the very best be the High Priest – are taken by the gods. For a tribe this is the greatest honour and shows they have the gods’ blessing. All tribes hope that their children will be taken, to live amongst the gods as one of them.

Of course those children that are indeed taken, selected by the Chapter’s Apothecaries, (after vigorous genetic screening) to begin the process of becoming a Space Marine. As these newborn recruits have had no experience of their primitive culture they carry none of this cultural baggage with them. As they grow they will have no memory of their parents, background or culture, and life within the Chapter will be all each recruit ever knows. Because recruits are inducted at an early age, the Red Scorpions exhibit no cultural influence, unlike other Chapters that recruit from primitive cultures.

The Red Scorpions are characterized by their extreme traditionalism, unyielding devotion to the Codex Astartes, and their hatred of Abhumans and other mutants and anything deviating from the pure human form.

I haven't read the badab war, outside of wiki related articles, the Blood Angels weren't even listed as being a part of the conflict.

Am I wrong here?

Well , somehow he managed to kill a Blood Angel so he is considered heretic. Even if they fought for some reason other than heresy the Blood Angel is considered more influential since he is a member of one of the progenitor legions. Anyway , its ur art mate , u do w/e u want , i just thought it was weird. Also huge Blood Angel fan here :P

Actually, you don't get the point. Red scorpions fought BAs Lamenter Badab War. Both are not heretics. Plus red Scorpion in this story are the good guys.

Actually, no one knows of Lamenter, seriously. But their blood Angels successors, they have the same gene seed and culture.

Yes, I know. But does it really goes so far that they are ready to kill any not-100%-genetically pure loyal Astartes?

Zaebus Minoris the Red Scorpions home world, the newborns are inducted to become space marines (they are born as space marines) and if they show any slight mutation, they are judged inadequate and it will be purified.

srr but still as i said...if loayalist kill loayalist then there was one loayalist and one traitor:)....only inquisitors can kill inoncence people:) i like dark bloody characters but when they kill other chapters without reason they are not different from chaos legions:) And if they are not heretics and are too zeal for be in empire...then they still can be renegade chapter:D...lot was...lot will be:)

No there loyalists, they 100% follow the Codex Astartes, then other chapters. And their very strict on mutations on genes seed. Basically if you're not pure you don't deserve to be a space marine or live.

I totaly understand:) I just sayn that kill astartes without reason can only Inquisitor...if do it somebody other...its sin:) Inquisition watch very carefuly gene seeds of all chapters and only they can say when is gene seed too much unpure...but its your chapter:) do as you wich,,,I just see heretics or renegades in future of this:D

Fantastic job on the details! I do like the Mark IV helmet. Is the main subject part of the BA's or a different org.? The Aquila brings it into question as it's apparently a loyalist marine hunting Blood Angels. (Just curious!) Otherwise the piece is great, keep up the great work!
